Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Everett, Massachusetts.

- BSN is required - Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required - BLS certification required - Med/Surg experience preferred. - Adheres to all I C.A.R. E. standards. - Must show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. - Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities. - Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills. - Must demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, team work, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management. Schedule: 36 hours Day/Evening rotation, Every other weekend, rotating holidays. 7 North - 36 bed medical/surgical/telemetry unit - Known for our great teamwork and respect - Great nurse to patient ratios - This is a fast-paced medical unit providing care for a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions - We see patients with acute and chronic conditions including but not limited to: asthma, psych, Detox, CHF, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, flu, HTN, PE, pneumonia, sepsis and UTI - Utilizes a team approach in caring for patients – collaborating with physicians and other disciplines in developing individualized plan of care for each patient. - Encourages to acquire and maintain diverse and extensive knowledge and skills for professional growth and development. - Shared Governance Model ED - Magnet with Distinction Designated Hospital - Generous PTO package & Tuition reimbursement - QUEST Award – Quality, Equity, Safety and Transparency About Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, is committed to supporting patient care, research, teaching, and service to the community.
