Judge Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse for a great client in East Walpole, MA!

Location: East Walpole, MA 02032

Job Type: Contract W2 12+ months

Hours: 40 hours Mon- Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: 42-45/hr based on experience

About the Role The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive health services at our on-site clinic. This role supports employee wellness, safety, and regulatory compliance through clinical care, case management, and health education. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational health services in accordance with medical protocols and company policies
  • Manage daily operations of the on-site health clinic
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee health records
  • Oversee the Body Fluid Donor Program, including medical history reviews and eligibility assessments
  • Manage medical cases related to Workers’ Compensation, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, FMLA, and ADA
  • Assess and treat occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries
  • Administer health services such as immunizations, TB testing, blood pressure monitoring, and counseling
  • Coordinate return-to-work plans with physicians, HR, and management
  • Assist with OSHA recordkeeping and compliance
  • Document clinical interactions in electronic medical records
  • Conduct and support medical surveillance exams
  • Partner with safety teams to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze health trends and recommend safety and wellness interventions
  • Draft and update health-related policies and procedures
  • Develop and deliver employee health education and wellness programs
  • Inspect and maintain emergency medical equipment (e.g., oxygen tanks, AEDs)
  • Lead the on-site medical emergency response team
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Experience in occupational health or employee health preferred
  • COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) certification is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control, and workers’ compensation
  • Proficient in clinical decision-making and case management
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, including electronic medical records
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
